Here is an interesting plugin I found by chance when reading Eric Meyer’s blog. So what does it do?

This plugin will notify commenters when their comments are caught as spam by Askimet or put in the moderation queue.

You don’t get it? well, say that you have a lot of spams going on on your blog, they’re all efficiently caught by askimet so you never check them in your admin dashboard. But sometimes, among them, you have a real comment from a real commenter. You’ll never see it or be aware of its existence unless the author knows that he’ll have to notify you that his comment is in your spam folder. And that’s what Antispam Collateral Condolences does. As a bonus it also tells commenters that their comment is being held for moderation. Thanks to Mark Jaquith for developping this nice plugin.

Not because of the oscar results (it was about time that M. Scorsese got one) but more of what I found in my Technorati this morning. I indeed discovered that some guy is using Andromeda as a template for his site. While I’m flattered that this theme is of some interest for someone, it’s NOT released yet. And using unreleased material without agreement is not allowed by the studio. I posted a message to this person and he has not answered yet. If that happens again, I’ll remove all the demo of the themes in progress.

Yet again a post about my stats (for the ones who know me, you know that I’m addicted to mint ;) ) but that should be the last, at least for a while. We’re approaching the end of the first week of the life of this site and I have to say that I’m amazed by how the site has been perceived since the opening. We’re indeed approaching 50000 visits which is very good (at least for me) for this kind of site. And maybe because tonight is the night of the Oscars, I feel like it’s time to take a moment to thank all the sites that have been featuring the studio and its themes ;)

With the presidential election approaching here in France, everything is about survey, polls, votes, etc… So I guess that this put me in the mood for a little poll regarding my wp-themes.

I indeed received quite a few emails regarding the release date of this or this theme and that this or this theme should be released first. While the next one on the list should be (I said should, so nothing certain here..) Andromeda (because it’s the more advanced coding wise), I haven’t decided yet in which order, I should develop all the mockups I featured on the site. To help me make a choice, I’m counting on you by voting on the poll found on the sidebar of the main page. Thank you ;)
