I just changed the addresses of the RSS feeds for the site. They are now going through FeedBurner.

It just came to my attention that the plugin, Del.icio.us Integrator, that comes with each of my themes in the plugin package is acting up. it seems to be working only from time to time.
While I’ m trying to find a replacement for this type of plugin which allows to get your del.icio.us bookmarks on your site (I’m testing out a few at the moment), I would recommend to the people who downloaded the themes, not to use it anymore. I’ll keep you posted when I find the right candidate. Sorry for the inconvenience.
While this site primary proposal is to offer wordpress themes, I decided it would be good (or of interest) for the readers of this blog to also write tips or even tutorials about Wordpress, its structure, the way it works and how to use, modify, improve or make themes.
The type of articles I intend to write are not obviously for developers or experienced theme makers but more for Wordpress enthusiasts who are interested in learning more about this CMS.
Today’s tutorial will be about controlling the appearance and the behavior of plugins by a few lines of code. This tip is really basic php coding and even if you’re allergic to this language, don’t be afraid, it will be smooth and easy;) Read the rest of this entry »
First off, thanks to everyone for the warm welcome on the site opening and the release of the first themes. The response has been pretty good (see the stats for yesterday..), thanks to Johnathan from eyePIXELS and Stephane from Frenchstudio who’ve been promoting the site quite efficiently. Overall the themes (even though the number of downloads is still pretty low) seem to please a certain number of wp users and, from what I anticipated, Tucana is the favorite among the 3, closely followed by Pyxis.
That being said, I must admit that promoting a wp-theme site is quite new for me. While I knew exactly all the places to post announcements for OSX themes, I haven’t figure out yet what’s the best way/location to get new themes for WordPress being noticed. I guess it takes time and I’ll learn more of it this coming year. But if you have tips about this, sharing them would be really appreciated ;)
On a side wordpress related news, My friend Ultra’ organized a contest recently on worpdress photoshop templates. The winner having is template coded into a functional wp-theme. The contest just ended and the winner have been announced. Go, check it out (it’s in french but I bet you’ll understand what’s in there).
