Full story
Yep, it finally happened!

With my daily job, I have to read and hence download a lot of pdf documents. When I say a lot , I mean a lot: I have about 2500 pdf files stored on my computer at the moment. Organizing the files have always been a problem. I tried to rename them, save them in specific folders but I usually end up forgetting to put the new ones in the right place. And when I need to find them back, well (even if spotlight can be helpful) I usually spend (lose) a lot of time in the process and sometimes have to download the required document again because I can’t find it.

I always dreamed of an app like iPhoto or iTunes that could simply store all the pdfs for me and help me in organizing, classifying and finding them by a quick tagging system of some sort. Let me tell you, some dream come true..
I just discovered that this kind of app exists and its name is Yep. Yep just localizes all the pdfs in your hard drive, (so you don’t have to move them in one place), add some tags and of course allows your to add yourself custom tags. You can (like in iPhoto) make libraries, you can transform pdfs, zoom, read, search, etc… I tested it this morning and bought a license almost instantly. Thanks to Tom Andersen and Ted Leckie for making such a beautiful and useful app.
