Main course

Here are my very first icons.
I never took the time to venture into the icon creation world, but I decided recently that I needed to learn how to make icons properly. As a starting idea I made two icons of the now trendy Manila envelope that everyone have seen and used if you ever worked in an office.
The icons come in 512px and in different formats with an icontainer included.
I hope you’ll like them (I know they are not perfect yet but don’t forget I’m a newbie in the icon area ;) ).

Santa Claus came one day earlier for me! I finally got what I was waiting for almost a year now: my iPhone!!
I got to play with it for a day now and I must say that I’m as impressed as I thought I would be. This device is really fantastic. So far, the only trouble I had was to connect to my wifi router but that’s because my router is really picky and a bitch to setup. Other than that once you get use to the keyboard, everything is great.
Anyway, I wish you a happy Christmas and may it be good as it has been so far with me :-)

Ok, I don’t post here that often mainly because I lack the time to write lengthy articles. One thing that I always wanted was to add somehow to this site some side notes where I could put small short and quick notes about stuff that I read and find on the web. One problem is that usually sidenotes are not formatted to post images, movies and such. I recently stumbled upon the perfect solution for me that is Tumblr. What is this?

Tumblr is a friendly, free, and terrifically easy tool for creating tumblelogs. what are tumbleblogs?

To make a simple analogy: If blogs are journals, tumblelogs are scrapbooks.

So basically if you want to follow me in my short daily writings or should I say blurbs, Add XIAPr to your bookmarks.

Yeah, back from vacation! We’ve spent the last three weeks hanging out with family in my hometown and in my wife’s grandparents house. Both are located in the country side and that was really relaxing.

While on vacation, I redesigned my wife’s website (Les petites choses) because she’s now offering not only a new set of tshirts but also a complete collection of clothing for both boys, girls and babies (up to 8 years old). The site opened yesterday, right on time with the release of “Elle” magazine (very famous french fashion magazine) where you can read an article about “Les Petites Choses”!. The design and coding repesented a massive amount of work and my most ambitious site creation (coding and content wise) so far. So we’re exhausted (not good for a 3 week vacation time..) but very happy with the final result. Now back to my lab and my wordpress templates..
