Andromeda

Andromeda is graphic extensive theme inspired by what can be found on a desk. Not only you’ll have a unique design for your site but you’ll have the privilege to get an iPhone before everybody else ;).

Plugins installation

First locate your plugin folder in your wordpress installation. Here is where it can be found:
your wordpress directory/wp-content/plugins.
Upload all the files and folders located in the plugin folder that come with my themes into your wordpress directory. Go to your dashboard, hit the "plugins" tab and activate the ones you just uploaded. Go to options and set up each plugin you want to use. That's it. A special note for the Ultimate tag warrior plugin: it comes in three versions, just activate the latest one (3.141).
While all the plugins that come with my themes have been tested with the lastest version of WordPress (2.1), xiapdesign can't be held responsible if something goes wrong. If you're having trouble with a particular plugin, please contact directly the author.

Themes installation

Once you have all the plugins required installed and running, drag the theme folder into the following location:
your wordpress directory/wp-content/themes.
Go to your dashboard, hit the presentation tab, choose your theme, activate it and you're good to go!.
Wait.. before you go you must know a few more specific things. Each theme comes with different template pages:
an about page, a contact page, an archives page, a normal page and a page with comments.
To create an "about" page, go to write page. Name it "about" (title), write whatever you want in it. In the page template drop down menu choose "about". Publish it an that's it.
To create an "archives" page, you pretty much do the same thing. Name it "archives", choose the "archives" template, publish it and you're done.
To have a contact page, same as above, Entitle you page "contact". Write what you want and hit the "insert contact form" button. Choose the "contact" template. Publish and it's over.
Finally, sometimes you want to have a page with comments and sometimes you don't. If you want, choose the template "page with comment", otherwise choose the default template.
